I am a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Christ Church Business School. Having worked at CCCU more than a decade and inspired by the university's vision and values, I would like to humbly stand for the nomination and election of Academic Staff Governor.
I have a growing desire to take more organisational responsibility and contribute to the challenges facing our university in a rapidly changing local, national and global environment. With a PhD in Management and Senior Fellowship of HEA, I have a good understanding of teaching and learning excellence, as well as valuable research expertise in entrepreneurial leadership and innovation management. I have been serving as the Chair of Faculty Ethics Panel in Faculty of Science, Engineering and Social Sciences since 2019. My accomplishment in this role has been establishing a strong panel team with enhanced ethics standards to support faculty-wide research activities.
I feel that my experience and expertise would provide a positive contribution to the implementation of Vision 2030. If elected, I would give my full commitment and passion to serve the academic staff community in a selfless manner with integrity and honesty. I believe that together we can create our desirable, sustainable future in collective and empowering ways.
